Sequel to WAVE, Odafe Awedohoma secured an internship position for three months at African Sun, Ikeja. Furthering his career, he works as a Banquet Sales Officer at Lagos Oriental Hotel.

Throwing back to his program at WAVE, Odafe found the training exercise interesting and appreciated all the trainers for their fantastic drilling. For Odafe, "the training was exciting because I learned a lot and they were trainers for different topics."

When asked what his challenge was in his workplace, “the challenges are regular; meeting difficult guess and angry customers,” he said. Odafe has been able to tackle these by applying communication, and problem-solving skills learned at WAVE.

His longtime goal is to manage a hotel or restaurant, and he is taking steps by learning all the skills involved in his current workplace. He advises job seekers to focus on training that will equip them rather than seeking money in all ramifications.

Thank you so much reading as WAVE wishes Odafe Awedohoma more success in his career.

Ifeoluwa's admirer❤️
Her story is inspiring. I feel motivated. She is a young girl who at a tender age knows what she wants and she is working towards becoming her dreams.

I really love the transformation that Wave is causing in the lives of the young people. Mary's experience just stands out. She is more equipped to live. This and more is what young girls especially need to compete favorably in Nigeria. Apart from the people that are in Lagos state, how can youths from other states participate in this training? How much does the training cost? Before I go, I really appreciate the leadership of West African Vocational Education. God richly bless you. Thank.
