WAVE runs its own innovation labs (academies) that test and disseminate ways to further optimize the impact, financial sustainability and scalability of income transformation models for finding, screening, training and matching young people to entry-level economic opportunities.
These innovation labs have delivered employability skills training programs to over 3,000 youth with 75% of them transitioning to employment, entrepreneurship, education or training.
Our flagship academy has the capacity to upskill up to 50 young participants per batch with a particular focus on innovating and updating the curriculum to meet industry needs.
We run an online academy which allows young participants who may not be able to participate in the physical training still have access to the same training.
WAVE in partnership with Digital Fortress and Street2Click is providing an array of hands-on training in different IT and employability skills.

We run two mobile academies tagged Academy in a Box as follows:
This mobile academy has the capability to move across different geographies across the country taking the WAVE training to youths in different states across Nigeria and other West African countries.
This mobile academy partner with government agencies in different states across the country to fulfill their mandate to solve youth unemployment and improve youth livelihoods.
WAVE Alumni continue to get coaching, mentoring and support even after the training is over. This ensures that they stay relevant and up-to-date at all times. We run quarterly masterclasses and share relevant information to all alumni supporting them through their career journey. Our alumni are truly family! Mentorship during and after the program and an alumni community that follows graduates into the workplace.
