Impact Story: Felicity Ezeonye.

Felicity Ezeonye is our Impact Story for today. A WAVE Alumnus from Batch 3.2, she was trained at Ojota. She heard about WAVE from a friend and was inspired to join particularly because her business had just failed and she needed something to do to fill the time.

The most difficult part of the training for her, was having to be punctual and sticking to the intense lessons she received from her facilitators. Some of the key lessons were communication and punctuality skills. However, she believes that the training she received has greatly helped her in her job as a customer service representative as she has to deal with clients and still maintain the brand of her company well.

Her advice to young job seekers is to never give up in the search for a career path and to most importantly take out time to develop their soft skills.

Her story is inspiring. I feel motivated. She is a young girl who at a tender age knows what she wants and she is working towards becoming her dreams.

I really love the transformation that Wave is causing in the lives of the young people. Mary's experience just stands out. She is more equipped to live. This and more is what young girls especially need to compete favorably in Nigeria. Apart from the people that are in Lagos state, how can youths from other states participate in this training? How much does the training cost? Before I go, I really appreciate the leadership of West African Vocational Education. God richly bless you. Thank.
