With great excitement, we celebrate ( years of making an impact and tackling one of Africa's most challenging issues- youth unemployment.

Over the past 9 years, we have been working tirelessly to address Nigeria's high youth unemployment and underemployment crisis by empowering underserved African youth with employability and job-ready skills preparing them for a competitive workplace and connecting them with job opportunities.

We also advocate and work to transform the employment landscape into a fairer more inclusive labour market through our ReadyForWork movement, thereby levelling the playing field.

To date, we have reached over 70,000 youth through our academies and strategic partners. 70% of WAVE alumni are either in jobs or started meaningful businesses of their own, and we have seen a year-on-year increase in income for our WAVERs.

Despite the challenges of the last 2 years, the lingering effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the instability across the globe, we have been able to push through and are proud to still be flying the flag and staying the course as we win the battle one youth at a time.

All of these would not have been possible without the amazing young men and women who come through our doors daily, our partners who sow into us daily, or the amazing teamWAVE who continue to toil tirelessly to give every young African the skills and the opportunities to become what they imagine.

To everyone, I say a big thank you!

Happy 9th-anniversary WAVE

Ifeoluwa's admirer❤️
Her story is inspiring. I feel motivated. She is a young girl who at a tender age knows what she wants and she is working towards becoming her dreams.

I really love the transformation that Wave is causing in the lives of the young people. Mary's experience just stands out. She is more equipped to live. This and more is what young girls especially need to compete favorably in Nigeria. Apart from the people that are in Lagos state, how can youths from other states participate in this training? How much does the training cost? Before I go, I really appreciate the leadership of West African Vocational Education. God richly bless you. Thank.
