Daniel is a vibrant man; full of life. He has goals and he is determined to achieve them. He is a 30-year old OND holder in Computer Science. He heard about WAVE from his friend who is also an alumnus. He had engaged in two administrative jobs before joining WAVE.

He joined WAVE two weeks after resigning from his last job because he wanted something different and he realized WAVE offered such incentives. He trained at the Ajah centre and was the Governor of his batch.
After the three weeks of training, he job shadowed at Fine House, Ikoyi. The experience was good because according to him, “I learnt new things and met new people.” He found himself in an environment where he had to learn new things.

Daniel learnt new skills that can aid job seeking. They include communication skills and resume writing. He boasts in the fact that that he can now structure a resume very well.
Also, emotional intelligence was learnt by him. He does not allow people’s actions to affect him negatively again.

He has a 5-year career goal which he works towards and believes is attainable. However, he needs to get a job first. It is noteworthy that he was a recipient of different awards at his graduation.
Most notably, he won the WAVE board of trustees’ scholarship award. He attributes the accolades to his democratic system of leadership as the batch governor.

He asserts that the facilitators are geniuses because of the learning rigours he underwent.
He highly recommends WAVE academy for any young person who wants to develop both mentally and emotionally.

Ifeoluwa's admirer❤️
Her story is inspiring. I feel motivated. She is a young girl who at a tender age knows what she wants and she is working towards becoming her dreams.

I really love the transformation that Wave is causing in the lives of the young people. Mary's experience just stands out. She is more equipped to live. This and more is what young girls especially need to compete favorably in Nigeria. Apart from the people that are in Lagos state, how can youths from other states participate in this training? How much does the training cost? Before I go, I really appreciate the leadership of West African Vocational Education. God richly bless you. Thank.
